Thursley Extension

Working with the owners of this family home and within the planning restrictions for an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), Babbage Construction partnered with WS Design to produce a “Design and Build” contract that would enhance and considerably increase the size of the property by building a substantial two storey extension. Special consideration was given to the resident bats that make this location a Site of Special Scientific interest (SSS).

The ground floor was re-ordered for a new entrance hall and front door as well as a plant room. The extension itself provides an elegant and functional Beckermann kitchen with dining and
lounging spaces opening through bi-fold doors to the walled terrace area of the garden. There is a separate laundry room.

Upstairs the master suite comprises a vaulted bedroom with views to the rear through more bi-fold doors that open onto a walk-on glass rooflight in the ground floor extension roof. There is a large bathroom and a separate dressing room area fully fitted with bespoke joinery.

So pleased with the project and working relationship achieved with Babbage Construction, Phase 2 of the project was subsequently commissioned to re-furbish other areas of this luxurious family
home.
